The Puma machine can be tailored to your application and comes with flexible configuration options:
- Pipe Holding Mechanisms: Choose between disc-based, roller-based, or chuck-based systems depending on your operational requirements.
- Axis Configuration:
- 3-Axis System: Ideal for cutting without beveling.
- 5-Axis System: Features automatic beveling arrangement for enhanced precision and preparation for welding.
- Torch Options: Configure with multiple Plasma or Oxy-fuel torches, available in both air-cooled and water-cooled versions to suit your materials and cutting demands.

- Wide Pipe Diameter & Thickness Range: Customers commonly inquire for pipes ranging from 33 mm to 356 mm in diameter with thicknesses from 2.6 mm to 8 mm. However, the Puma system is highly adaptable and can readily handle other diameters, thicknesses, and pipe lengths (min. 750 mm to max. 5000 mm and beyond) as per your specific project requirements.
- Integrated Plasma Power Source: The machine includes our own manufactured HyCUT Plasma Power Source. These are IGBT-type power sources, renowned for stability and performance. For example, the HyCUT 125 model offers a current range of 10-125 amps, a maximum output power of 20 kW, and supports piercing up to 20 mm and edge cutting up to 25 mm. The systems are standardized and compatible with other plasma power sources if preferred.
- Robust Machine Structure: Built with an MS frame and features 3 or 5 controlled axes with independent drives/motors for superior control and movement.
- Precision Drive Mechanism: Utilizes a combination of rotary gearbox, rack & pinion, and ball screw for accurate and smooth motion.
- Automatic Height Control: Includes automatic height control of the plasma torch through arc voltage control, which is crucial for pipe roundness correction and maintaining consistent cut quality.
- Controller & Nesting Software Options: We offer a choice of Indian, Chinese (FLMC), or Canadian controllers, paired with industry-leading nesting software (AlmaCAM / iTSoft) for optimized material utilization and efficient programming.
Important Note: It is to be noted that the presence of a weld seam along the diameter of the pipe, or ovality/deformity of the pipe, can lead to reduced cutting accuracy. Pictures are indicative and the actual machine design may vary based on specific customer requirements and specifications.
General Terms & Conditions:
- Packing & Forwarding (P&F): 3%
- GST: 18%
- Transportation: To customer's account / To Pay
- Payment Terms: 50% advance along with the order and 50% after inspection at our works prior to dispatch. Other payment terms, including Letter of Credit (LC), can be discussed.
- Dispatch: 10-12 weeks from the date of receipt of the purchase order & advance. Expedited dispatch can be arranged as per customer requirements.
- Installation & Commissioning: Installation and commissioning will be carried out by our engineer at your site. Customers are requested to provide decent accommodation (lodging & boarding) for our team. Necessary items like tools, tackles, crane, forklifts, etc., must be arranged and provided by the customer at the site before the engineer's visit.
- Training: Comprehensive training for the customer's nominated personnel on operation and maintenance will be provided during commissioning.
- Warranty: 12 months from the date of commissioning or 18 months from the date of dispatch, whichever is earlier.
